The Backoffice Admin Console
The single web console ZB staff use to run Smile Mall — how it is organised, and how to navigate by page name.
One console, real live data
ZB staff do all their work in the admin console. It talks to the core API on your behalf; you never touch the database directly. It shows real, live data throughout, with an environment-aware top bar so you can always see whether you are on production or staging, and all money values shown to two decimals.
Navigate by page name
Throughout these tutorials, console pages are referenced by their sidebar name — for example Support > Tickets, Finance > Bill Payments, or Settings > Audit Log. Always navigate by these names rather than memorising URLs.
The main areas of the console
Support & Orders
Live Chat (WhatsApp handoff), Support > Tickets and Analytics, and Orders including Disputes and payment re-checks.
Merchants & Content
Merchant applications, AML review, and the product, property and event moderation queues. Promotions, leads, and ZB Services.
Finance
Revenue, settlements, commissions, refunds, bill payments, reconciliation, and Smile Cash.
Settings (super_admin)
Platform settings and fees, KYC screening, user management, and the audit log.
You see what your role allows
The console enforces real server-side roles. What appears in your sidebar, and what actions you can take, depends on your role: support, operations, finance, or super_admin. If a page you expect is missing, it is almost always a role setting, not a fault. See Roles & Access.
The golden rule
Reply promptly, keep the record honest, and never tell a customer something is done until the console shows it done. This is the spine of every support and finance procedure in the Backoffice section.
